I love to start my day healthfully. Morning is the time to make good choices as breakfast is the first meal of the
day – if you start your day by feeling light yet full of
energy, you are more likely to keep making good choices as the day goes along.
I’m a fan of enjoying lots of fruit for breakfast to provide your body with a load of vitamins. Morning is the best time of the day to enjoy these treasures of nature as your tummy is empty and is able to easily digest the natural
vitamins of the fruits immidiately once they get into your system. This is not possible
after a heavy dinner as your digestion is still completing the process of this previous meal. That’s why I am encouraging you to treat your body with high quality
nutrition at least in the morning – your body will thank you.
Enough for the lecturing, I want to introduce my new favorite breakfast. Chia seeds are true beauty food. You may read more of their health benefits from for example here (and get inspired by this lovely blog!) . This meal is healthy and easy, yet delicious!
3-4 tbs chia seeds
1-2 cups frozen berries (I used strawberries and black
currants)
banana
kiwi or any fruit
2 tbs hemp seeds (optional)
honey to sweeten (optional)
You can really use your imagination in the choices - any kind of berries, fruits and seeds will do :).

Prepare the chia gel overnight or in the morning by covering
chia seeds with water in a glass and letting it swell for at least ten
minutes (or overnight in the fridge). Once gel, throw the ingredients into
blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy :)
